Welcome to a game of sorts, a chance to test your will But this is not for meager stakes, nor for sport or skill Today we consider the possibility that everything you know Is an illusion, a joke, a regime we seek to overthrow What is it you think you see? You think that is reality? Your past is all you think and feel Distorting what you see as real It forms your core identity And limits what you're meant to be You're blind to life outside your view And you are not yet truly you This isn't what I came here for, I know myself real well I'm not about to give that up, so find something else to sell What is it you think you see? You think that is reality? You're stuck in a reactive state Wake up before it gets too late There was a time a moment when I was not there when there was only the experience it came it passed through me it was beautiful it was true and then it was gone When what you think is what you see occurring as your reality Then, only then, you will know what it means to be truly free a clearing for everything and nothing

I am where the water lays down Bittersweet sad sound A thousand geese fly and lay still in the night And keep going they just keep going All angles and easy exits This is why we’re here You dreamed a parade of ghosts Ghosts who missed their train Wind blew right through you Gravity knew you and Brought you back again and again then again then again then again All angles and easy exits This is why you’re here To leave is to return This perfect dream These open arms Past rushing back to me Full color memory Time goes like crazy And stands still All angles and easy exits This is why we’re here All angles and easy exits All angles and easy exits You are always near You are always near You are always n e a r

SCENES FROM THE FLOOD

What do we keep, and what do we let go?

Bassist/composer Bryan Beller (The Aristocrats, Joe Satriani, Dethklok, Steve Vai) presents a sweeping, epic-scale modern progressive double concept album that asks the question: When the storm comes for us, the big one after which things will not be the same, who are we and what do we become in those defining moments? Scenes From The Flood explores themes of ambition and loss, intentionality and reality, hope and disillusionment, and uses every second of its 18-song, 88-minute running order to tell an emotionally consuming and unforgettable musical story.

Available exclusively at Bandcamp in original uncompressed hi-res digital files.

BONUS ITEM: The official 28-page digital booklet (PDF), an essential companion for the complete immersive listening experience, comes included with every full album download purchase.
